1. How does publishing with Horror Publisher work?It’s simple! Email your horror manuscript to us, and we’ll review it. We’ll then send you a personalized quote based on the services you need—whether that’s formatting for publication, editorial services, or both. Once you accept the quote, we’ll handle everything, ensuring your book is professionally prepared for publication.

2. What types of horror do you accept?We welcome all forms of horror, including novels, individual short stories, short story collections, novellas, screenplays, and horror-related non-fiction. Whether your horror leans toward psychological suspense, supernatural terror, splatterpunk, or cosmic dread, we’d love to see it!

3. How much does it cost?Our basic package is just $250.00, but pricing varies depending on the services you need and the word count of your manuscript. After reviewing your manuscript, we’ll provide a no-obligation quote tailored to your project. Our most common services include professional formatting for publication, as well as editing and proofreading at competitive rates.

4. Will I keep all my royalties?Yes! You retain 100% of your rights and royalties. We do not take a percentage of your book sales. Once your book is published, all payments go directly to you from Amazon. We make our money from what we charge for our publishing packages and services. There are absolutely no hidden costs whatsoever.

5. How long does the process take?It depends on the services you need. Formatting and cover design can be completed in just a few days, while editing takes longer depending on the depth of revision required and the word count. We’ll provide an estimated timeline when we send your quote but we do work quickly and professionally, so it’ll be a lot quicker than the traditional publishing route.

6. Do you offer editing services?Yes. We offer a full range of editorial services, including proofreading, copy editing, line editing, and developmental editing. We’ll help ensure your book is polished and ready for publication.

7. What happens after my book is formatted?Once we’ve formatted your book, we’ll guide you through the publishing process to ensure everything is set up correctly. You’ll be set up with your own publishing account and you will have full control over your book’s distribution, pricing, and royalties.

8. Do you design my book cover?Yes, professional cover design services that align with your book’s genre and aesthetic are included in our price. If you have your own images/cover, we’re also happy to use them. The choice is yours.

9. Do you handle ISBNs and copyright?Yes. An ISBN will be assigned during the publishing process. You remain the copyright holder of your work, and we can add a copyright page to your book. Alternatively, you can use your own ISBN if you prefer.
